Manufactured by Lantac USA in Fort Worth Texas, the LA-N15 Straight Pull Raven™ features cutting edge design and functionality that pushes the limits of the AR to new heights.
We do not convert existing semi auto AR parts or purchase cheap US parts and assemble them in the UK. We do not use counterfeit or airsoft parts of any kind.
Our rifles are specifically designed by us and manufactured by us to be UK legal Straight Pull ARs. These rifles features precision machined components manufactured from the highest quality certified materials and finished using the correct military specifications for coatings and processes.
All small parts are sourced from military contract suppliers, feature NSN numbering and are manufactured to the latest specifications and revisions, so they are of the highest quality and reliability.
The Ravens CP-R360™ Domed Head Cam Pin reduces friction and wear to the upper receiver and creates a much smoother operation of the working parts. It is Swiss precision turned from 17-4PH (Precipitation Hardened) Stainless Steel and heat treated to H900 condition. A noticeable improvement to function can be identified.
The LA-N15 Straight Pull Raven™ features a completely dedicated, specially designed BCG (Bolt Carrier Group). The bolt is spring assisted and utilises our CP-R360 Domed Head Cam Pin for ultra smooth unlocking operation. Unlike converted carriers, Lantacs dedicated system is threaded for a handle prior to heat treatment so that the carrier retains strength and wear resistance in this important area.
Lantac's Straight Pull E-BCG® (Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group) is a patented design that uses completely milspec, tried and tested quality materials. The carrier is precision machined from 8620 steel that is heat treated to a 15N Rockwell hardness of 89.5-91.0. Critical diameters are hard turned/ ground so that perfect dimensions are maintained. The E-BCG® features a Carpenter 158 Bolt that again is hard turned after treatment.
It is S110 shot peened and 15N Rockwell heat treated to 89-90.5 hardness.
All bolts are MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected) for defects prior to coating and all parts are QPQ (Quench Polish Quench) Nitrided to AMS2753B standards, for improved corrosion resistance and lifespan.
Lantac's BCG's have undergone Defense Standards (DEFSTAN 00-035) 72hr Salt Fog trials and surpassed the requirement with minimum corrosion evident on both the carrier & bolt, as compared to the standard MIL-DTL-16232G Manganese Phosphated BCG's.
Semi Auto 65,000 round count bolts have undergone MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection),
Radiography & Microscope analysis that revealed only minor surface crack initiation to the lugs, while standard M4 bolts usually fail at circa 12,000 rounds with crack initiation and propagation causing the lug to fail on either side of the extractor recess.
Straight Pull shooters can rest assured our parts are of the highest quality and reliability.
A completely modular charging handle system comes as standard and offers the shooter the flexibility of either a knurled, neoprene or original steel and rubber grip design. Handles are precision Swiss turned and QPQ Nitrided. Arms are machined from 316 Stainless Steel, handles are then TIG welded in place and dressed.
The Straight Pull E-BCG® has been completely redesigned from a standard BCG and features a dedicated carrier intended for use solely in Straight Pull ARs. A lubrication port is machined into the side of the carrier so that oil or grease can be applied with the carrier and bolt in battery. The port aligns perfectly with a lubrication reservoir on the tail of the bolt, allowing the user to lubricate the mechanism without having to disassemble the rifle system.
The carriers alignment guide is lightened and the tail of the carrier is flared for improved concentricity and alignment within the upper receiver, this in turn improves accuracy and has been independently tested and confirmed by the US DoD.
Charging handles can be swapped out at will and together with three grip styles a short handle base is also included. This gives the shooter up to six different handle configuration options to choose from, at no additional cost.
Mounting of the side charging arm is achieved with the use of a 1/4 X 28 Tpi, Grade 8 fastener and a recessed mounting slot is machined into the carrier that offers a flat and secure surface. Additionally an index pin on the bottom of the handle prevents rotation of the arm and works with the screw to form an extremely robust assembly.
While our Patented charging handle designs have been sadly (and badly) copied in the past our customers can rest assured they are purchasing not only the best looking system on the market but the most ergonomic & flexible too.

The Straight Pull LA-N15 Raven™ can be configured in multiple calibers including:
.223 / 5.56X45MM
300BLK / 7.63X35MM
A modified bolt is required for the 9X19MM Parabellum round while the .223 / 5.56X45MM & 300BLK / 7.62X35MM both share a common bolt face.
9X19MM Parabellum can be used for Gallery Rifle competition or Vermin Control (where allowed) and can be successfully suppressed with subsonic ammunition.
.223/5.56x45MM is ideal for CSR (Civilian Service Rifle) competition or other practical disciplines as well as Vermin Control and Hunting (where allowed). Lantac rifles are chambered 223 Wylde Generation 2 which is an improved chamber over the standard 5.56 allowing for increased accuracy and safely supporting both .223 and 5.56X45MM ammunition with the latters increased chamber pressures. It can be successfully suppressed with subsonic ammunition.
300BLK/7.62X35MM can be utilised in Competition Shooting, Vermin Control and Hunting, it can be successfully suppressed with subsonic ammunition. Lantac rifles are chambered with a proprietary Improved 300BLK chamber that can also safely support and fire 300 Whisper ammunition too.
Extremely lightweight and rugged, the SPADA-ML® range of handguards are manufactured from extruded 6065-T6 alloy that is then Type III Hardcoat, Class II Anodised to MIL-A-8625 standards.
M-LOK slots are positioned at 3,6 & 9 O'clock, along the length and the Picatinny rail has been lightened with a series of cuts that reduce weight while retaining strength.
M-LOK slots are fully licensed from MAGPUL® and are precision machined to their Gen2 dimensions.
All lightening holes have been increased in size to further reduce weight.
The Barrel Nut and AST™(Anti Slip Tab) are all machined from 4140CMV steel, with QPQ Nitriding to AMS2753B standards.
The ARI™ (Anti Rotation Insert) is machined from 7075-T6 Aluminium and anodised to finish.
The 15.0'' Handguard is fitted as standard to the LA-N15 Straight Pull Raven, other handguard and barrel lengths are available.
Helicoil inserts are used on the Clamping Flange threads and Grade 8 screws are supplied for the strongest possible lock up.

The SPADA-ML® is available in five different lengths from 6.75'' to 15.0'' and can be configured to your specific barrel length on a custom rifle build.
The SPADA-ML® utilises a Patented and extremely robust mounting solution, its Anti Slip Tab must have all three Grade 8 screws removed before the insert will allow the handguard to slip forwards and while anti rotation tabs are present on the main body of the rail an additional Anti Rotation Insert (designed to work with Gas Tubes) is also positioned above the barrel nut to protect the handguard from any flexing when the claming screws are torqued.

The LA-N15 Raven™ features a receiver set precision machined from certified 7075-T6 alloy and Type III, Class II Hardcoat Anodised to MIL-A-8625 specifications. The USC (Upper Side Charger) features a proprietary bore manufacturing process that delivers an ultra smooth 16 Ra (Roughness Average in µin). The receiver barrel extension area is deliberately manufactured under size so the barrel and upper fit is extremely tight, leading to improvements in barrel alignment & accuracy. The USC's design increases structural rigidity and the receiver is better able to combat flexing when the handguard or barrel are loaded against on object.
Barrel Nut threads and bore are machined in one operation so that these important surfaces are concentric and the receivers front face is perpendicular to its center line.
The LA-N15 Raven™ lower receiver features an internally flared magwell that assists in magazine alignment and positioning under stress. The magwell is broach cut rather than milled so that internal wall surfaces are smooth with sharp corners, as defined by the original military specification.
A spotface cut has been added to the rear takedown pin area so that the pin is easier to access when necessary.
A built in 'Winter' style trigger guard offers increased strength, improved ergonomics and can accommodate a gloved finger when required.
Receivers feature contemporary styling with a streamlined 'minimalistic' look.

The LA-N15 Raven™ comes with a Geissele 2 Stage G2S trigger fitted as standard, however any aftermarket trigger can be installed at the customers request. The Geissele 2 Stage (G2S) was designed to be a high quality upgrade component. The G2S is a non-adjustable trigger that has a precision two-stage action and allows precise and accurate trigger control. The G2S is manufactured from the same tool steel as the Geissele SSA. Visually, there is no difference from the SSA and the feel and reliability is the same.
Each barrel is chambered & headspaced to a master bolt face with barrel extensions being individually matched to each barrel. Barrel blanks are precision gun drilled, double reamed, precision honed and then rifled with a progressive button system, utilizing 6 groove rifling that has been proven to produce the highest level of shooting accuracy. Barrels are then air gauged with a bore concentricity tolerance between .00005'' to .0001''.
After double stress relieving our barrels are Cryogenically treated before final finishing.
Each of our 416R 18'', 1:8 Twist, Stainless Steel Barrels are chambered .223 Wylde, this hybrid chamber is designed to exploit the accuracy advantages of the .223 Remington without the over pressure and compromised functionality problems associated with 5.56X45mm NATO military ammunition.
To this end both calibers can be safely fired from our barrels.
Chambers are carefully polished and headspaced to .002'' off a NO-GO Gauge.
Bolt Gap is checked and maintained within tolerances.
Each barrel crown is precision machined to 11° and threads are cut 1/2-28 UNEF. Barrel extensions feature M4 Feedramps as standard.
Barrels are machined from certified 416R Stainless Steel & YAG Fiber laser engraved with logo and barrel nomenclature.
Typical accuracy is Sub to 1 MOA depending on ammunition used. Group size may be larger with some cheaper ammunition.
Handloading will produce the highest level of accuracy, however this is undertaken at the owners risk.
Seek professional advice before handloading for the first time.
300BLK/7.62X35MM Barrels are available in 16'' lengths with 1:8 Twist.
9X19MM Parabellum Barrels are available in 16 lengths with 1:10 Twist.
All barrels can be cut to custom lengths at an additional cost.
RAVEN™ Straightpull Barrels are manufactured to the highest quality levels during the machining process. Sub MOA accuracy is achievable with high quality, consistent, heavier grain .223 ammunition.
Custom barrels using Sassen Engineering stainless steel blanks can be manufactured on request, at an additional cost. For customers wanting extreme accuracy we recommend this solution and the barrel can be chambered and threaded to your exact requirements. Barrels can be supplied in raw steel, blasted or paint finishes.

World Class Muzzle Device:
The Dragon® Advanced Muzzle Brake is designed to reduce muzzle recoil and muzzle rise to zero. It has been interdependently tested and proven to out perform other brakes on the market.
Each RAVEN™ rifle features a DGN556B, DGN762B or DGN9MMB Dragon® Muzzle Brake fitted as standard.
The DGN556B can additionally be fitted with an ASE UTRA Borelock Suppressor mount adapter.
ASE UTRA's Borelock system allows the fast attach and detach of their JetZ™ range of Suppressors.
Manufactured in Finland by Ase Utra OY, the jet-Z™CQB and CQBS suppressors incorporates Ase Utra's patented jet-Z™ baffle system.
The jet-Z™ CQB and CQBS are all-steel, all-welded units.
The jet-Z™ CQB adds only 484 to 505 grams net weight and 125 mm added length to a typical rifle and the CQBS is even smaller and lighter at 411-432grams and an added length of 96 mm.
With a diameter of just 40 mm, the suppressors are slim enough to be used with low-mounted telescopic or iron sights.
The jet-Z™ CQB and CQBS are fitted with the Bore Lock QD mounting system.
